PWA-805 Wrist Strap
Auditor
Measure wrist strap resistance
This PROSTAT designed fixture allows accurate resistance measurements
of wrist strap assemblies when used in conjunction with the PROSTAT
PRS-801 or PRS-812 resistance sets. It measures wrist strap assemblies
in three modes:
Resistance of entire wrist strap cuff and cord assembly from
the cord's groundable point to the center, inner surface of the
cuff
Resistance of the cuff's inner or outer surfaces, and connection
continuity to mounting buckle plate
Resistance of the entire cord, from groundable point to cuff
connection.
Initially designed to provide wrist strap cuff resistance measurements
as recommended in ESD Association Standard ESD-STM1.1-1998, this
portable fixture allows full analysis and measurement of all
facets of a wrist strap assembly. Adjustable cylinder assembly
offers easy measurement of various cuff sizes and configurations.
